As promised!
Here are the winners of the get-my-100k thing!
Ladies first, so say hi to ~Crizata and of course =xxkiriku too!
First thing that I noticed when I was strolling through this promising young lady from Romania was the freshness she puts in her work. Every single snap is yelling joy of living and an incredibly spontaneous view of what surrounds her as a photographer. Not to mention her contagious smile and the springlike tones she uses to perfectly colour her World. Super-tender pictures of her and her lucky lover are popping up every now and then to give a sugary feeling to the whole thing, with an incredible feeling of softness and relax spreading all around. Childish at times, but in the sweetes and best way ever, ~Crizata manages the mixing of being a girl and a woman at the same time, with appealing closeups and unusual angles when it comes to her selfs that leave place to the viewer's imagination. Still here? Go and peek in her amazing parallel universe,it's definitely worth it!

Second under-18 years old in a row, again an astonishing young DA promise. =xxkiriku is one of the most productive and multi-faceted young italian folks I've been the pleasure to stumble upon, lately. Both when he's collaborating in editing others' pictures or shooting his own, his style is absolutely peculiar and unique. Creepy at times, therefore absolutely charming. No matter if you're in for macrophotography, portraiture, photoshop actions, experimental captures. None of these features of this young artist will leave you disappointed. Jaw-droppingly creative, =xxkiriku will surely achieve great goals if he (and I strongly hope he will do) keeps up his great work. Harsh shadows and bleached colours are everywhere like a silent river flowing through his mind, in great company of simply gorgeous music tracks to go with. But this darkish feeling does not exclude some more colourful and happy pieces, especially on his drawings' side. In only two years of DA life, he's showing a continuous and consistent growth in terms in experience, and I can't wait to see what will be next from him! Yay for Mario! And here are some samples, go check the rest!

[Zzup? The rest.]
June 16th blitz in Rome to see Depeche Mode turned out as c-r-a-z-y. Crazier than I would have ever expected. Craziest as hell, actually. Simona [=6eternity9] and me were already drunk after ten minutes we had got on the train, so the 4-hours railway trip has turned out to be hilarious. I can't report the amazing discoveries we've done, but trust me they're just great. As soon as we reached Rome the NUNS appeared and started their evil plan, which is still going on. Geez, those nuns had the power. Anyway, I'm not talking about the nuns, since they know everything. Nuns hear you, remember that. Our hotel in Rome was just too cool, told ya we would have been the ultimate pimps and so it was. We rocked out. As for the show, it has just been Amazing. Dave has managed to gift us an incredible jaw-dropping performance in spite of last month's surgery. Two hours show and damn "I feel you" and "Strangelove" practically killed me. We've also met ~MariZucca which I'll be meeting again in three weeks for Moz gig [geez I'm going to see Morrissey on July 13th and I'm drooling already!Mozza marry me NOW!] and had fun at the very-ultra-posh after show where some local vips showed up (boo for vips, we in our alternative gig outfit are absolutely better than those old looking jerks!) and we drank and stuff. My dad was there too as part of the organization and he's been hooked up by a let's say "curiously looking" italian-tv-vip, scene was hilarious trust me. We have been teasing him all night long. Day after, I'm not mentioning anything or so. Let's say that Rome is one of the most charming cities in the damn World and did not leave me disappointed. Ah-ahn. Yes, let's say it like that. Anyway Simona and I took like A LOT of pictures, I'm so left behind in submitting that, I promise that as soon as I get over exams I'll show you them. We have been touring around in Rome and its parks and had a great day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU twin of mine. Maow.
Oh yes, the Rome disease has left me (and her too) with some curious effects. Regression to teenager times is now going on. I do go around giggling and listening to pop songs and going practically crazy laughing for every little thing. I warn you, in case you're planning a trip there, you might be coming back slightly regressed in your mind. Be aware. *giggles away*.
Last but not least.
My work has been chosen for a 18-among-400-entries selection for a National Photography Contest, themed "Rosso Piccante". I survived the first shift, have to wait 'till July 15th for the final results. Hard, but you never know. I'm anxious as hell 'bout it. *crosses fingers*. Here is the set I've submitted. It's the one on the fifth line. [link]
Tomorrow I'm sending the photoprints and I'm totally thrilled!
